About Me You & The little lady

In 2008 my mother, the original little lady, taught me how to make handcrafted artisan soaps. I carry very fond memories of these times as I was learning all that she knew. Precious moments sharing ideas, recipes, perfume combinations, and creating handcrafted soaps the old fashioned way. 

Soap making brings me joy. It is a way to express my creative side in a relaxing way. Whenever I finish a batch I am proud to be doing something that my mother taught me. 

Having problematic skin, I am constantly looking for products that I won’t find irritating. By making my own soap, I can be in control of what I put on my skin and avoid any harsh chemicals and artificial fragrances. All of the soaps are made in small batches by me, with lots of love and attention to ensure the highest level of quality.

You might be wondering how the name MYLL came about. My husband and I discussed the name for a long time. One evening after many weeks, I blurted out that I wanted something simple that represents my family. Something like, “Me You and the Little Lady.” 

MYLL represents my family; me, my husband Daniel, and my little ladies. My mother Glen and our beautiful little Russian Blue, Sierra. It represents what's important, family, the loving memories I cherish of my mother, and you, my loyal customers. 

For me ‘you’ symbolises the special people in my life, my family and my customers. Hopefully the name is something you can see yourself in as well.
