Our soaps are made with care and attention using a method called ‘cold process’. They are handcrafted in small batches, using only the highest quality ingredients.

Cold process soap making, often called cold process for short or simply “CP," is a method of soap making that uses the combination of oils and lye, without any added or external heat source, to create soap. 

No alternative seems to offer the level of control and benefits that cold process soap does. It has been a household staple for centuries.

We label my products with all the ingredients used to manufacture them. It’s important you:

• Check that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients in the cosmetics you use. Speak to your doctor if you have any concerns or if you’re not sure.

• If you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergies, visit your doctor or a clinical dermatologist before using new cosmetics.

• If you have an allergic reaction to a cosmetic product, stop using the product immediately and seek medical advice.

Cold process soap is very different compared to soap made from surfactants. Lather from most store bought soaps come from surfactants or detergents. Synthetic surfactants are harsher on the skin, and can strip the skin of moisture. My cold process soaps are made from plant based oils that are nourishing to the skin.

This means you need to care for your cold process soap a little differently.  Ensure your soap doesn’t sit in puddles of water. It’s recommended you keep your soap on a tray or rack to ensure they last as long as possible.  

Yes. We don’t use any animal based ingredients.

No. We only use plant based essential oils.
